See Ya Simon - David Hill

See ya, Simon / David Hill. Wellington (NZ): Mallison Rendel, 1992.

This touching story is about Simon and narrated by Nathan, his best friend. They share almost everything - computers, girlfriend troubles etc. But there is one thing Nathan cannot share with his friend. It is Simon's muscular dystrophy. Funny and tragic at the same time, See Ya Simon approaches muscular dystrophy from the point of view of a physically able person dealing with the inevitable death of a friend before his time, at the same time as he is dealing with his own very real problems of just being an adolescent. An adolescent whose life is constantly overshadowed by the imminent death of his very best friend.Poignant and delicately written by David Hill, an author who lends a delicate touch to his characters.
